What are your opening hours?
Mon - Fri 08:00 - 19:00 (last on) Sat - Sun 09:00 - 19:00 (last on). Subject to change with the daylight.
How much does it cost?
£20 for adults and U16's £15.
How do I pay?
Use the payment facility on checkout or cash on the day.
My child is 16, does that mean that it is £15?
No. They would have to pay the adult price.
How many can use the gallop at once?
Max 2 persons. Please contact us via email for larger bookings.
What if I have to cancel?
If you need to cancel or rearrange with over 24 hours before your booking please email giddyup@lodgefarmgallop.co.uk. Bookings cannot be changed if they are within 24 hours.
Do I need insurance?
Yes. ALL riders must have a minimum of 3rd party liability insurance cover.
Which entrance should I use?
The entrance is on the A63 with 2 cones at the end of the farm drive. Open the gate and come into the yard. DO NOT FOLLOW THE SAT NAV ONTO THE A162 TO MONK FRYSTON PARK.
Will I be able to turn my trailer round?
Yes.
Where can I park?
Please read the confirmation email when you complete your booking for instructions.
Do I have to wear PPE?
Yes, all riders must wear a body protector and helmet complying to current safety standards. Correct footwear must also be worn.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes but it must remain on a lead at all times and please clean up after it.
How long before my start time can I arrive?
NO MORE than 20 minutes before and please leave NO MORE than 20 minutes afterwards.
Will there be other users on the gallop?
No, the booking is completely private for you and your party.
Do I have to gallop?
No you can go as fast or as slow as you deem safe for your and your horses ability.
Is there a mounting block on the gallop?
Yes
